Yesterday, the children learnt the prepositions 'to' and 'at'. Just to recap, a preposition is a word that describes the position of a noun.
Preposition
![]() |
'To' is used when there is movement from one place to another. |
![]() |
'At' is used when there is no movement. The action is done when the person is stationary. |
Note: the children have been taught to underline the clues.
For eg: The word 'winked' is underlined as it tells us that there was no movement from one place to another.
Thus, the preposition used here is 'at.'
Thanks for reading! :)
