Prepositions ( 'to' & 'at')

Hello Parents! :)

Yesterday, the children learnt the prepositions 'to' and 'at'. Just to recap, a preposition is a word that describes the position of a noun.

                                       Preposition

'To' is used when there is movement from one place to another.

'At' is used when there is no movement. The action is done when the person is stationary.

Note: the children have been taught to underline the clues.
For eg: The word 'winked' is underlined as it tells us that there was no movement from one place to another.
Thus, the preposition used here is 'at.'

Thanks for reading! :)
